LM Managed Performance Fund

Updated 22 February 2012

Established in December 2001.

Established in 2001 to meet global demand for a high performing yet capital-stable income fund, the LM Managed Performance Fund has delivered competitive, consistent income with a stable unit price in each of its ten years of operation.

LM utilises its property expertise and business relationships spanning Australia's property sector to select investments that offer Fund investors a yield appropriate for property and/or property related investment.  The asset class held in the Fund is primarily a debt security that participates in the profit associated with a property transaction.  The Fund also holds passive debt security and cash.

The LM Managed Performance Fund uses loan structures for its assets to ensure that all returns are provided to investors as income or interest only returns, minimising potential tax implications for the Fund and its investors.

The Fund provides investors worldwide with access to Australia’s diverse and unique property market. While the assets of the Fund are Australian, the Fund accepts all major currencies, allowing international investors to transact in their currency of choice.  Risk of currency exposure is managed through the use of forward foreign exchange contracts for the entire investment term.
